CHILLI PAROTA

                             Chilli Parotha

Materials Required to cook Parotha :

  1. Maida  [ 3 cup of maida ]
  2. Egg       [1 egg ]
  3. Sugar   [ 1 tablespoon ]
  4. Water  [ as required ]
  5. Salt      [ As per the taste ]
  6. Oil       [ for soaking ]
  7. Ghee   [ 2 tablespoon ]

Procedure: [To make dough]

    Step 1 :  Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take the maida, sugar ,salt, and ghee.

    Step 2 :  Rumble and mix well until the flour turns moist.

    Step 3 :  Now add water and start to knead the dough. Add water slowly and         Knead to the dough.

     Step 4 : Add tbsp oil, cover and rest for hour. After 1 hour, Punch and knead the dough again.

     Step 5 : Put the dough into balls. Pull  and spread as thin as possible.

     Step 6 : Cut into thin strips using a sharp knife. Bring together the strips . 

     Step 7 : Now Roll spiral, making sure all the strips are intact, with greased hand, pat and spread dough.

      Step 8 : Roll slightly thick, making sure the layers are intact.

      Step 9 : Cook on medium flame until the both the sides it turns Golden brown.

Ingrediants to prepare Chilli Parotha:

  1. Parotha                                               -   2                                       
  2. Onion                                                  -  1
  3. Capsicum                                            -  3
  4. Carrot                                                  - 1
  5. Ginger                                                 -  1 inch piece 
  6. Green  chilli                                        -  3
  7. Coriander leaves chopped                 -  3
  8. Red chilli powder                               -  1 spoon
  9. Tumeric powder                                 -  1/2 spoon
  10. Garam Masala Powder                      - 1/4 spoon
  11. Chilli sauce or tomato sauce              - 1 spoon
  12. Salt                                                        - As required
  13. Oil                                                         -  As required   

       Preparations Time for Chilli Parotha :

  •   Heat the parota in the non-stick pan with oil  and add the chopped the garlic. 
  •   Add the ginger  and when it is golden brown, 
  •   Add the chopped ginger and fry just a while.  
  •   Add the onion an d fry till transparent, followed by the capsicums and coriander leaves.  
  •   Fry for a minute in high flame, just fry for a minute in high flame.   
  • .Add the chilli powder,garam masala ,tumeric powder, chilli sauce or tomato sauce. 
  •  Lower the flame and add the cut parotta pieces and mix it so that everything coats the parota pieces properly. 
  • Lastly add the coriander leaves chopped.
